I mean living in L.A. my siblings and I literally grew up on Taco Bell. There's Taco Bells alllll over that region. In NY and the midwest, I notice Taco Bell isn't as established and is kind of a novelty.

I won't lie, I really don't have time to cook so after work a lot of times I just go into these places. But lately I've been treating fast food, in general, as a last resort. I've discovered more alternatives over the years and I've changed quite a lot.

Oh yeah, and the Mom & Pop Mexican places out here are FARRR better than Taco Bell. I can get a fajita freshly made, fresh tacos, fresh mexican rice. I just found better options the longer I've been out here.

gotcha. i had a guide when i first moved to nyc and i was briefed on where to avoid. plus i've always liked weirdo food, so i sniffed out all the funky falafel shops and whatnot in e.vill as soon as i could. i rarely cooked for myself back then. i remember being so shameless, we'd ORDER OUT for BREAKFAST. lol rolleyes

lolll! I'll def. get up on some ZAGAT, MenuPages.com, I'm all over that when I dine out. I'm kinda budgety when it comes to breakfast, tho.

Shoot, yeah, Burritoville is nice. Chipotle is a better alt too, albeit pricier.

You know what, if you ever get a chance when u come back here, I like this restaurant near Nolita called Mexican Radio good rice! Also, Arriba Arriba in Hells Kitchen has the BOMB enchiladas y tacos con pico de gallo (...y sangrias)!

it was wrong. totally wrong. my roommate and i would wake up on monday, call in sick to our jobs, make a pot of coffee, break out the cigarettes, and bicker over which one of us was gonna call in the breakfast order until one of us offered to pay if the other one called. AND THE DAMN DINER WAS ONLY FOUR BLOCKS AWAY!!! lol

That said, if anybody around here delivers breakfast, I don't know about it, and I have the sense not to go looking. lol

Rats are so urbanized now, they don't fear humans. It's the other way around. A few months ago, in a refuse tip, a fucking huge rat was clawing it's way up a wall before it saw my mate and me, stopped, shuffled along the wall towards us ready to pounce omfg I swear it tried to stared at us. Must have been one of it's distraction techniques. Coz while we were fixed on that little bugger his mates were running rings around our feet boxed

Goodness! I just saw this on the local news here in NY and was freaked out. Guess what, I used to EAT at THAT exact location where the Dept of Health has videotape of rats running along tables and chairs at the Taco Bell/KFC on West 4th in the Village.

I used to get soft tacos there like a year ago. Sit and eat in there and everything.

GROSS.AS.HELL. I definitely won't be going back. Plus, my homemade tacos taste better!

I thought you banned that franchise after you ate some bile chicken.

I've been banning KFC going on 3 years now, but I still eat @ the other Yum! Brands, Inc. franchises Taco Bell and Pizza Hut from time to time.

Ya, I know Taco Bell is owned by Yum Brands, the same company who owns KFC and gave me food poisioning and, yes, I'm wack. neutral lol... neutral

Don't feel sorry for them. They really do amazingly well...masters of adaptation.

I personally think they are fascinating.

I've had many a pet rat in my time. They really do make a wonderful pet.

If I was a worker at THAT Taco Bell/KFC location, I would have quit that damn job the same day (or sooner if I would have known that there was a underground rat village in that area).
