SURGERY TODAY-Thank you for kind thoughts PLEASE please please can I ask for prayers and kind thoughts....?
I am just about to leave for the hospital now for surgery to remove a tumour... Should be back on line by the weekend (hopefully by Friday). Never had general anasthetic so I am quite nervous... would really appreciate some prayers being sent my way! Thank you [Edited 2/22/07 10:07am] | |

I always find the anticipation to surgery is worse then the actual surgery..it is the unknown that we fear usually. You will do fine and I wish you a speedy covery

my sis had surgery in april to remove her thyroid. (cancer) i know she was so nervous. i kept telling her she'd be ok, the doctors there were wonderful. you're already there by now, but when you read this you'll know that i wished you the best and said you'll be ok too. recovery will take a while, so don't think you'll get up with your usual energy by the next day. take your time to heal.

by now the blasted tumor is out of your body and you can start to heal

Home now... feeling a little other-wordly, a bit sore and quite shattered - early night tonight I think!!

I encourage you and support you. I've had two major lung surgeries for spontaneous pneumothorax(collapsed lungs) and I've had arthroscopic surgury on my knee for torn medial meniscus(a nasty tear, by the way), neoplasia(deteriorated knee cap), and surface femur fractures.....
Still here...still kickin'..... Get you some Vicodin...and if it runs out, 151 Rum and Prince jams. Hope to see you soon back on the Org. My prayers are for you. Much love. | |
