My phone rang, and I picked it up. I got a recording giving me a number, and saying someone had left me a landline phone message. I was to press 1 to hear the message. I hung up the phone, because I didn't know who the heck was calling, and didn't know if it was some kind of a joke or a scam.

Now this may sound silly, but after I hung up, I wondered if it was Shausler leaving me a message to thank me for the "get well" message that I had left for him on the voice message thread. Perhaps that's a stretch, but I didn't know if Shausler could somehow get my phone number from the number that I had called?

Did anybody else who left Shausler a "get well" message have this happen to them? Strange question, I know, but I'm curious now.

Sounds like a scam. Give me your bank account details and I'll check out if there's been any suspicious activity there. I used to work for the CIA, I know what to look for.
