When I left that job they stopped. I never had one before that job and I haven't had a single one since. My migraines would cause me to lose some of my vision just before the pain started. It was awful. I remember getting one once while I was waiting for the bus home. I had to ask a man to read the bus numbers for me as I just couldn't see. After a migraine I would feel very tired...I also would get partial paralysis on the left side of my body...even on the left side of my tongue! I'm so glad I don't get them anymore. They are the WORST! I'm sorry you suffer from them. I also had them out of no where and also got rid of them in one step.... In both cases I removed the male in question.... I sware this true....

OK, wait. I also was in a really bad relationship when they started. Actually, my whole world was crashing down at the time. Home, family, romantic and work life stress all at once. Stress does terrible things to people.

In the same since there are hangovers from it there are also warning signs..... for me, pounding water... having some cafine and a couple of extra strength tylenol will honestly stave it off.... have never had another... true story!

I used to use Imitrex ( for a short time ) ... the med didn't help much and made me feel exactly how you're explaining for a day or two afterwards !

I have had migrains for as long as I can remember. Stress or lack of it has little effect on them. I am sure you have the food trigger chart and steer clear of those foods ? And you have been allergy tested to check that as well ?

have you seen an allergy expert? a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

It's important to rule that possibility out! And like I mentioned the food triggers are important to steer clear on. You may also want to chart them for a few months and figure out if they are hormone related. If they come pre or post menstral there is a thearpy suggestion also for hormonal migrains

Mine are not from stress either (I can still remember my very first headache at 5 years old). In fact, I have one right now. I take 600mg. of Ibuprofen in conjunction with Promethazine. It's an anti-nausea drug that my doctor prescribed to me about a month ago. Somehow it works with the painkiller and stops the migraine cold. It's also a antihistamine, which I could use!!! I get at least two migraines a week, always have, and stress will make it worse.

Here's the thing....it is an anti-nausea drug, but it somehow works with the painkiller to make the pain go away FAST. My headache is GONE, and what was that, like ten minutes? What a lifesaver!!!!! I've used everything under the sun, but this surprised me how fast it is! I have always worried about my daughter getting them. She's eleven and hasn't had one yet.
