HamsterHuey

I got my two cats temporarily, for what was supposed to be a week, catsitting for a colleague of mine, who wanted kittens, but also wanted to go home (UK) for Xmas.
I got them and noticed he got two EXTREMELY shy, scared and neurotic cats. I did not see them, they just hid for a week.

Colleague came back, picked them up and tired of them in a week. I already told them I would not mind having them back if he got tired of them, as I had loads of time then to spend with them, something he did not have, not the patience.

DeeDee was easily lured with food, she got used to all the attention. Dexted took FOUR years to domesticate, even though he is still VERY shy and panicks easily. I can pick him up, but only for short distances; to lift him on a table or off; he will fight me when I try to walk.

One of the sweetest moments in my life is the first moment he let me pet him and when he allowed me to have him on my lap for fifteen minutes for the first time...

Dexter, also called 'Mannetje' ('Lil Man') and Stippelneus (DottedNose)

DeeDee, also "Vrouwtje" ('Lil Woman') and "Hee hoer" (Hey Ho) as she is ALWAYS craving attention.

I love the second picture. That cat looks like he's actually modeling. heehee.
He is the Cindy Crawford of house cats.

He most certainly is not. Besides that dot, of course. Dexter is shy and this was his first photo session. He does not sit still long with peeps around and skirts when there are sudden movements.

This entire session took three minutes, but I took a picture every five seconds of it, as I know he would flee quickly.

Meggy's not around so I'm gonna tell you about them... Steller is the world's smartest dog. She was the runt of a 13 pup litter, the brightest of the bunch.
She had us trained before she was 3 months old biggrin . She loves all of us but has gotten especially attatched to Megs. Totally rules our household.

Rohan is a German Shepard- Husky mix who is completely goofy and lovable.Megs adopted him from a shelter where he would have been killed in a couple days. He's only 9 months old and still very puppyish. Likes to chew things like furniture, car seats, remote controls ect. though he is getting much better.
