The Sex Buddy Relationship?

What's the longest anybody has existed in a Sex Buddy relationship without it getting too serious and ended with someone getting hurt? It seems like Women can never Own a Sex Buddy relationship? In other words women can never remain in the relationship for over 6 months before their emotions get the best of this relationship. Who knows I could be wrong. This was a hot topic at work the other day.

Why and how did the relationship end? Did it end because he got married?

We always hooked up when we were single, so it was in between relationships over the course of 3 years. It ended because he started seeing someone seriously and so did I.

It was rough at the very beginning, lots of drama - not just between him and I but between others that found out about it...but it ended on very good terms.

I think some people are just meant to be Sex Buddies and nothing more.

We did not get along at all. We just had really good sexual chemistry.

I would have to say 3 years has to be the longest Sex Buddy relationship that I've ever heard of.

When I was in my early 20's I had a friend, who, if we showed up at the same party and neither of us was with someone we'd go home together. I don't remember it ever being planned and we never dated. That lasted about 3-4 years. I think he's married now. I've no idea. lol I think we just drifted apart and started hanging with different crowds, as friends sometimes do.
It was fine at the time, but not something I'm interested in now.

Has anybody ever ended a sex buddy relationship and just became close friends? I think it would almost be impossible.

On/off for a couple of years. If we were both single now, I'm sure we'd be bangin' like bunnies every weekend. lol

And it was fine. We considered a romantic relationship, decided it wasn't in the cards, and happily kept fucking.

It is impossible. I am in something sorta like that now. Started off as sexual, ended up becoming very close friends for a couple of years (without seeing each other face to face) and now that we have seen each other it's started up again.

It's not fun...well, for me anyway. I am having a real hard time with it. I feel too close to him to be doing this.

"The others"!

It's a long. complicated story. Basically, it was with a family member's best friend/business partner. It did not go over well when we were found out.

Lasted about 9 years, but we're still close friends. We've talked about getting back together.

Funny because with most of the experiences with me it was the guy that couldn't handle it.

Right now I have 3 on rotation that haven't gotten emotional. I'm loving it.

I had a sex buddy for around a year and a half. He had a boyfriend, I called it off. I started feeling guilty. Yes, I was wrong for going there in the first place. It was great sex.

Why do I sound like a robot?

My longest was bout 6 months the problem is that all my buddies start to want a real relationship so I have to dump them, before they get to emotionally involved.
