I think at most times they are convienient, but sometimes they are a giant leash! This one person keeps calling my ass and I don't feel like talking, they just left a nasty message saying I know you got my last few calls I'd be doing bettter if you called back! Fuck! What are your opinions?

I hate them since Ive gone travelling. Luckily I lost it. My friend wakes me up in the morning with the constant tapping of the buttons whilst texting. I also am not all for the idea of always being contactable. In the future kids are going to be righting like a Prince song.

They can be really intrusive..

oh I remember the days when you just couldnt get to a phone and could turn into work when ever, or not have to deal with that awkward pphonecall from a friend cos you just missed their call, and you had no answer machine, soi you didnt know that you HAD missed their call..

Electronic Leashes! I can't stand them. Everyone has this thing where they think that they have to answer them at the wrong time (dinner, whie talking, sex...)

I'm scared of cell phones.

You never what any previous inmates might've used it for.

Worse are those that forget to lock there keys and call you 80 times in one morning!

I've trained all of my friends to understand that it's not a good way to reach me, mostly by not answering their calls. It's for MY convenience. Works out fine. I like having it.

I like my cell phone.

What pisses me off are idiots who are on their celly while driving. And while driving they are either going under the speed limit or not paying attention. And they wonder why they get into an accident.

i was recently on a bus where i had to hear everyone's damn phone calls and it was annoying.

besides the usual "make sure you do your homework, i'll be home later" stuff
the guy (late 20's) to the left of me was having a long discussion
about how 14 really is too young but man when they look that hot it's so difficult.

and the chick to the right of me called someone every couple of minutes
with conversations that went something like "you had better have made me supper,
cause you don't wanna start shit with me" click "what are you doing?
well you had better be there on time. you don't wanna start with me" click
and then no answer followed by "answer your damn phone when i call" click. and on and ON!!

I use mine for everything : Look up movies when I'm not near a computer, work, contact with friends/family, and even to gage the wheather.

Sprint has a great online service that gives up minute by minute weather forcasts. I used it once to find out if it was raining when I was at the beach getting rained on.

I can always tell when some yahoo is in front of me must be on a cell phone because your driving is erratic.
