I give all the time.

Since I was young, I used to have a thing about being bleed.

Now that I'm older I can indulge in those emotions and do some good. And for free, and less than 30 minutes of my time.

i enjoy it. the first time i gave blood it really knocked me out. I slept for the whole rest of the day and then the next morning, i kept blacking out.

I was much better about it the next times i did it.

I've given blood twice already. What's funny is that I have such small veins, the nurse has trouble finding a vein large enough to stick the needle in. lol But they always manage. The first time I gave blood, I felt a bit dizzy and lightheaded afterwards. Where I worked, every time you donated blood, you got a certificate for a free lunch from the cafeteria, which was a nice incentive.

The high school I coach for usually has two of them a year. I always give. The shit makes me feel high.

I used to give religiously every 8 weeks. Then I started allergy injections so I had to discontinue my donating. Then after I stopped the allergy shots I went and they turned me away- I did not weight enough by about 2 pounds.
No worries- I have gained the weight back- I can give now, just under a bit of stress then. Now I have to get my lazy ass to the blood mobile. The last time I actually gave my veins kept going flat and/or rolling about. Finally I told the girl to stop trying. So I guess I still have that in the back of my mind.
I love how energetic I feel after giving though.
I could use some energy about now.

Think so, but I'm not sure. The Red Cross has pretty strict guidelines as far as giving blood goes. Before you give blood, even if it's not your first time, they have you read through a booklet that outlines everything you need to know about blood donation.

A lady I worked with couldn't give blood several times because her iron level was low. The Red Cross takes no chances as far as endangering the donor or the person(s) receiving your blood, which is good.

Yes, sexually active homosexual men are refused.
