Any Orgers personal trainers/certified instructors?

If so, what do you recommend ACE, AFFA, etc? How expensive is it?

Gracias...

I'm a personal trainer certified through AFAA. It was about $350-$450 for course materials and registration for the 3 day workshop/exam. We had to do a written as well as practical exam. Although I hear the testing procedures may have changed a bit. You may want to visit their site www.AFAA.com to see if there are, in fact, changes. ACE is a good one to pursue as well. I think they're costs are about the same. Others like NASM or ACSM are a little more expensive but prepare you a bit more for working with various special populations (ie, elderly clients or injury rehabilitation.) so that's something you may want to consider. Certifications last for about 2 years generally and then you have to renew.

Wow, NovaAngel - thanks for all the information. I will check out the AFAA website ASAP.

Thanks again! smile
