i'm tidier than i am clean. i pick up and straighten a lot, but i don't dust or mop the floor or wipe down my windows nearly enough.

Me too. I'll actually clean (rather than tidy) about once a fortnight.

I actually broke my mop two weeks ago. It snapped in half as I was wringing it out. I can't even afford a new mop until payday.

I've never cleaned my windows since I moved in here - but that's because I have no desire to open my blinds.

OMG, you totally saved my kitchen.

I went to walmart and bought up a whole bunch of plastic containers and now keep my food in those containers. Not only does it look more uniform in my cubbards, the confused flour beetles are all gone.

Um. . . I'm working on it. It doesn't come naturally to me.

There's a level of dirty where I just don't go. There is nothing ROTTING, you know? But I never dust. I almost never mop. My vacuum cleaner is a piece of shit and I don't bother to use it very often. shrug My bathroom is kept pretty clean, and other than dishes stacking up sometimes, I keep my kitchen reasonably clean, but the rest of it? Eh.

this is my level of clean, exactly.

well, my CDs are mostly immaculate - always alphabetized, always neatly arranged.

i did the carpet steam cleaner thing to my couch when i moved to my new apartment last fall. it was really gross, plus i think the couch looks worse now than it did when it was filthy. pout

I'm planning to rearrange my CDs this weekend, when I have my new shelves up. I actually think that sort of thing is kinda fun to do. smile

I've been thinking I should do the couch thing, 'cause I sweated all over it when I was sick recently. ill barf That I'm not looking forward to.

My main concern is there be little to no filth or grime. I am rather OCD about cleanliness, though not so much about orderliness.

Locating what I want around here is often a quest because things don't get put away when and where they should and visitors may stumble about a bit trying to navigate their way - however, my piles of clutter are so clean one could eat off them.

no I force them to do it or they get no dinner. For Christmas each one got one of these:

lol you're not serious are you?

and hi, btw... wave

nod I am serious!

they love these things! lol

I don't put them to hard labour or anything, but if they make crumbs under their spots at the dining table, they go and clean it up with their brushes and pans.

I try to be clean. Obsessively so. But lately "clean" to me is more like shoving everything on the top shelf in the closet (which I'll never be able to get down without three inch heels and a stepstool falloff ), closing the door carefully, and pretending I got something done. Then I vaccuum to make the room look better and there, I'm finished.

I'm currently lazy about "picking up" but as far as cleaning counters, vaccuuming, laundry, etc...I'm a little less lazy. Which is a really good thing...eek

I love this thread, everyone is so honest about being damn skanky lol

I don't know what I am. There are areas of my place that are clean, neat, clutter free & stay that way. & there's other areas that are just a damn fool - papers piled up, boxes, receipts, dust balls from the shedding-ass area rugs... sometimes the bedroom is immaculate, & sometimes I'll leave laundry (clean laundry though) piled on the bed for weeks neutral This month I can tell that my computer table is glass b/c I can actually see the table top for a change woot!

It just depends on how much time I have, which lately ain't much. The kitchen & bathroom are always pretty tidy but the rest of it gets fucked up during the week & I usually get to it on the weekend. I got people coming over Saturday so I'll be pulling it together for them lol
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart
