The last time I watched a soap opera, it was back in the early 80s--General Hospital--with Luke & Laura, Duke Lavery & Anna Devane, Scorpio, Tiffany, the Casadines, the Ice Princess, Blackie (John Stamos), Frisco (Jack Wagner), Rick Springfield... etc. etc. That whole spy thing -- the DVX aka KGB -- was just fascinating.

Now to think of it, I flipped past that show the other day and saw that they still had Barbara Jean (aka Bobby), Luke's old ass, and some other folks... And Casadine's chirren too. After 20 years of not watching it's just too much to catch up on.

This show needs to have a big tornado or something and kill off these people...


***Asa---Once again,he jumps into another marriage,this time with con artist Rae Cummings.Actually,these two losers deserve each other.

***Max---The most obnoxious and annoying character of all.In the 80s,he used to be a respectable character,but now he has become a bad parody of himself.

***Christian---So,he goes through all that trouble to be with Jen and NOW he decides that he really loves Natalie?!

***Nikki Smith---Please,don't let her invade Viki ever again!! She's dangerous!

***R.J.---This guy will never change.He'll always be a sneaky,back-stabbing criminal.

***Todd and Tea---The two of them are leaving the show,and not a moment too soon.Send this dysfunctional couple to the moon or something!!

***Bo---What's his problem? In recent years,he has become a total WIMP who would marry any blond bimbo that catches his eye.His character has become dull and lifeless,and is no fun to watch.He's a Police Commissioner,but yet he constantly gets involved with women who break laws (Lindsay,and now Gabrielle??).Go figure.

im 37, been watching since i was 7 and i remember one thing clearly - Dorian Killed victor , not Vicki

All I know is if i'm flipping thru the channels and this show is on the Soap network, I'll sit and watch hoping and praying that they show Ty Treadway (spelling?) with his shirt off!!!

My mom watches "Days Of Our Lives" without fail, and I could never get in2 the soaps, or daytime dramas (whatever u wanna call them) anyway... but funny thing is, I was visiting her about 5 years ago (during soap time) and she was in the middle of this soap:

This guy, (Stephano) kidnapped this lady (Marlena) who is like the main character, and the husband is searching for her...meanwhile this guy is brainwashing her etc...

Five years later, I'm visiting my mom again during Soap Time, and the same fucking plot is on!!! She's still kidnapped, he's still brainwashing...NOTHING'S CHANGED!!!

Oh well, I did like Dynasty, back in the day.

Soaps can be addictive.The storylines are absurd and unrealistic,but if you start watching them,you can't stop! You'll wanna keep tuning in to see what happens.

I was also a big fan of "Dynasty" back in the day.Alexis (Joan Collins) was the "Ultimate Soap Bitch"!!

I rarely get the chance to watch soaps nowadays,but when I do,I try to watch 'One Life To Live'.Their recent storylines are pretty interesting.

What's funny is,several weeks ago when Vicki was "Nikki",nobody even noticed that she was acting strange! Bo,Asa,and Jessica had seen her alter egos before,so they should have known something was wrong with her recent weird behavior.

In any case,I hope they NEVER bring back her split personalities again.She nearly killed Ben this time!

As I mentioned earlier,this show needs a complete overhaul.They need to get rid of the characters I listed above,and try some new storylines,such as these...

***Bring back Tina,only this time,make her a mean bitch (like in the mid-80s,when Andrea Evans played this role).Let her and Blair open up a cool nightclub together.

***Bring back Dorian!!!

***Have Nora get back with Bo (Oh wait,I already said that he should be killed off,so scratch that!)

***Get Natalie a love interest (so she doesn't have to obsess over Christian any longer.Sheesh!!)

***Find a storyline for Sam or get rid of him! He's a nice guy and all,but he has NOTHING to do these days,except act as a doormat for Blair.
