Casey Kasem:do you miss His top 10 Show?

now with Soundscan in effect&the language content hitting the top 10 the way it does I doubt Casey Kasem would even dare do the Top 10 from Billboard.but anyway do you miss the way He did the Shows&the Charts back in the day?"Keep your feet on the Ground&keep reaching for the Stars" thoughts on Casey Kasem: I miss His Vibe.

One time when my sister Tampronia was going through a difficult time (her cat Pretty-Pants got run over by a Pinto), I wrote that fool Casey Casem and asked his skinny ass for a long distance dedication. Hmph.

Child, I requested "Rock of Ages" and that dirty so-and-so had the NERVE to play a song by some crazy rock and roll band called the Deaf Leopards!

So I called the station and threatened to "rock" them with the WORD of GLORY...HAVE MERCY!

1) Casey Kasem is still on the air
2) He's never used Billboard/Soundscan as his source. He's always gone with Radio & Records. In fact, pretty much all on-air countdown shows do, just as most radio stations program their channel with it, rather than Billboard.
3) Casey's show has, over the years evolved into a countdown of the adult contemporary hits, as the traditional top 40 chart has been inundated with hip hop, country, dance, etc.

Why you blind old fool, I will have you know that I am a beautiful woman. I drive men to distraction. Just because I am a good Christian woman who doesn't like waving her private parts all over the place doesn't mean I don't have the private parts to wave, FOOL

I miss the show from back in the days. I used to love to hear whether my favorite songs went up the charts or went down the charts. Plus Casey would give you a lot of info on the artists on the countdown. So I love the show for that as well...

From 1983...(imitating Casey's voice..."moving from #11 to number #8 this week is the funky kid with the royal name from Minneapolis...here's Prince with Little Red Corvette...his first top 10 record".

Yes!! Comedy! Its on Winmx..he goes off. It is one of the weirdest things to hear him curse and get angry.Back to the lecture at hand. Kasem ruled regardless of his schmaltz.
