SEPTEMBER 11th, the tragedy of our time...A time to remember and hope to one day move on

Being a part of a community. Fight, argue, disagree, agree. It is ONLY 5 days away. We lost our fellow Americans sad we lost our men, we lost our hero's. Some lost their husbands, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children! But in each one of us something was lost. And this day we need to be here for each other to say and speak how, HOW we feel. Personally, I have a son who might face war in the very near future so it is not close to an ending for me and there are many more who face the same destiny. Lets together just for this one day...AND do not fear or worry and if we do,,,LOG on...Please lets talk about our pain, feelings...WE are P.orgers but we are still human beings wink

yups..i think this is the third similar thread...

tailgate, i commend your compassion...im sure there will be many many other threads created on this subject...hopefully people will search out the other threads so they can read the previous statements and not feel alone..(expecially when those who have already contributed to the previous threads dont respond to the new ones)...this upcomming week is gonna be a toughy, in reality and in virtuality...

??? this is where they're going to turn? that's sadder than having nowhere to turn! and so much sadder that one would NEED to turn to someone, a year after the fact, unless they were directly impacted by NY, DC, or PA. and the other thread would work for that just as well.

I don't wish to appear insensitive to our American members, but we do already have threads covering this issue. As Aaron said, there is one called "9/11 Reflections" and no doubt a few more.

Sorry but I think a few good threads is a lot better than a dozen weak ones. Locking this thread - there is no point in duplicating threads that have already been posted.
