i guess my personal interpretation of it is that
for some of the men its more about how beauty is fake
and for some of the women it is more about how we should accept ourselves

The only reason we don't buckle under their demands for who we should be is that ultimately we know they're personal hangups and extreme low self-esteem will cause most of them to settle.
