How very sad for his family, for him, for my family... Nothing gained, but everything lost!  i think it's rare for a loved one of a victim to feel sadness for the murderer and/or his family. i also think it's commendable and speaks to the strength of your compassion. the kid is being put away for life, which is what is deserved. it won't bring your nephew back, but it will keep other people from being hurt by this person. i guess that should count for something, no? Interesting because I really identify with what she said there. My cousin's killer has not been caught and I don't know if he ever will. Truly he is not a monster. He is merely a young man who made an awfully big mistake in his life.. Does he see the crime as his mistake, or just the fact that he got caught? Some people really are monsters. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
