Has anyone heard of the show "Who Wants to be a Superhero?" OK... so my brother, who never phones me, just phoned me -- internationally, even -- to see if I'd design an outfit for him!?! 
I was an artsy type growing up and I've been accused of being a bit of a clothes horse in adulthood, but I'm hardly a fashion designer... much less a costume designer! Turns out, my brother wants to audition for some reality show on the Sci-Fi Network called "Who Wants to be a Superhero?" Apparently, contestants go audition as some proposed character. The producers pick a few of their favorites to live together in a house in some select city, where the contestants endure a series of challenges and vie for the ultimate prize of having Marvel launch a new comic book title in their honor. Strange stuff. Yet the STRANGEST part of this is that my brother -- a friggin' 27-year-old, built-like-a-linebacker, firearm-toting deputy sheriff -- seriously wants to be a superhero! He's faxing me his characters' backstory, specs, etc. tomorrow!

I saw about 20 minutes of one episode and it's really out there. It looks ridiculous to me,but there must be something to it if it's on for another season. Hey let your brother have his dreams,he's into it. Help him out and put your mind to work on a costume for him. If it makes him happy,it's ok! | |

Its a pretty much nonsense, but it got decent enough ratings, btw who won last yr.?
