It's good, actually. I'm enjoying it, just having a bitch of a time working it in with marching band. You know how it is. Heh heh. That, and I'm lazy. -------

Unfortunately, shit nothing. I was doing a lot of reading while on vacation, but now I have an $18 fine at my local library so I can't check out anything else
So I've been rereading my personal collection. Carrie by Stephen King (I've read this book, oh, about 6 times) and Are you there God? It's me, Margaret (a nostalgic choice, I can zip through this bad boy incredibly fast, I've probably read it over two dozen times since the 5th grade). I read Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, The Color Purple by Alice Walker, and I know why the caged bird sings by Maya Angelou while vacationing, though. Not too bad, eh? I mean, like, where is the sun?

Just after I posted this I finished another paragraph, so I'm feeling pretty good about myself (although really really tired...) Your encouraging words really help, if I am reading you right... Haven't gotten to the chapter on sarcasm yet though... Hmmm...

I was so bored that I started a book by what's his name.
Uhm. John Grisham. Just cuz Palahniuk is probably wanking off somewhere and I have to read SUMTHING in between writing myself. And what am I writing? My bloody autobiography. But the warped version. You'll like it. If I ever finish it. In the meantime I just write another song for Carrie. Let's see...

I am just finishing "The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass" by Stephen King...
EDIT: Stephen King has already finished books 5 and 6 of the series and is nearly finished with the final installment, book 7. This series is meant to be ONE complete novel, so you should read all of them in a row if you are interested in his non-horror writing. ... Just picked up Hannah Crafts's "The Bondwoman's Narrative" edited by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. It's the oldest novel found, written by a slave in America. Was on the NYT best seller list for the longest. Just finished
"In search of schrodinger's cat" by John Gribbin, (very good 'who, what, when' about quantum physics) and I'm currently halfway through "Bad Wisdom" by Bill Drummond & Mark Manning (starts off half-sane, about their journey to the north pole to sacrifice an icon of Elvis Presley and therefore save the world (don't ask), but soon degenerates into psychotic fantasy)
