Do you think certain medications could affect dreams? I just realized that could be it--I'm on muscle relaxers for a while before a surgery next month, and I'd be quite relieved if that triggered this madness. Don't you think that your horrified reaction to the dream speaks to the reality that you're actually ok?
I think you should be worried if you, like, found the dream to be inspirational or something.
The fact that it freaks you out so much seems to me to indicate that you're very concerned about being a person with integrity and a good heart.

I've got to make Seattle happen. I want to meet your girlfriend and of course Jessica and Matt while I'm up there. Ugh. With this surgery thing, I'll be out of sorts financially in a big way. And I was intending to cut my hours by half so I could get more of my classes out of the way as opposed to getting my Master's while I'm middle-aged... Ugh, again. Not to mention the Vegas trip in March, and my Lithuania trip in November.

It's one thing to dream that your loved ones have evil personalities, but, incredibly, it was like I was someone else. I dreamt all sorts of other awful things with it, but I won't post them here. The sickest part is, I hung her in my bathroom, went to work, came home, and took a shower as she continued to hang right next to me. What the fuck is wrong with me? Seriously? Wy can't I shake this fear of myself? At one point, I just stood next to her and watched her hanging with her bloodshot eyes staring back at me, until I finally woke up, sweating. Please help.  Wow, that would scare the crap out of me too. Dang!
I've posted this before, but I once dreamt that I had the newspaper on the floor and was reading it. All of a sudden, there were drops of blood falling onto the paper. I looked into the mirror, and my face was melting; the flesh was like running down. Thank God I was able to wake myself up and escape from it, but it scared the living daylights out of me. I get violent nightmares too and have talked to people about them. I've heard that dreams of death can actually be a positive thing. It's all symbolic remember, not literal. Also I've heard that every character in your dream represents an aspect of yourself. Have there been any changes or shifts in your life recently, an ending of sorts? I think, the fact that you had no remorse means that it was a good thing, that your subconscious had put to death or was in the process of doing so something unnecessary in your psyche. | |
