I also would never ask someone how many people they had slept with either.

I had a girlfriend who is young and slept with about 21 guys by the time she was 23. A guy she was dating asked her and she told him the truth and he stopped dating her.

That is a loaded question. People should keep in mind that you might get an answer you don't want to hear and can't deal with the truth. Some things people are just better off not knowing.

Not for that reason. As far as intimidation, I've found it to be the other way around. I've got a will-try-damn-near-anything-twice policy, and have had some kinda out-there experiences as a result, so people tend to worry that they'll be too vanilla for me if I tell them about my history.

To some degree, they have a legitimate concern. Too-vanilla is possible for me. I've discovered that I don't need somebody to be a kinky freak, but I do need an certain attitude. . . a willingness to experience a new sensation with an open mind. That's all.

I'm happy to hear whatever they want me to know. If they have fears based on past experiences, I should probably know about that. But I don't NEED to know anything that doesn't affect my safety.
