I just got dumped.
Anyone want to commiserate with me while I unwrap all of the Christmas gifts I so careful selected?
I need some company.

Oh wow, that sucks! I thought I had it bad when I got dumped one week before the dream holiday we'd been looking forward to, but to be dumped just before Christmas seems worse for some reason. Unwrapping the presents that were meant for the the other person must feel terrible!

That's alright. They were cheep anyway, that's why they broke up with you before christmas. Heartless and cheep.

This is the third year in a row I've been dumped in the week before Christmas.

i'd just put the presents to the side, find some really good, sad music, load up on the junk food and write it all out in a journal if you can. when i'm really upset and i can't let it go, writing it out helps me a lot. just some thoughts.

It took a good, I don't know, six months before I had any sort of confidence or happiness brought back. It's just a process.

Try to hang out with some friends if you can. It always sucks being completely alone. Hmm, or a nice bottle of wine. After a few glasses, you can go sleep it off.

Hey it could be worse you could have gotten dumped before your own wedding<----! Well actually i did the dumping but the whore cheated! August 4th would have been my 1 year wedding anniverary! It all works out in the end

My first love dumped me and moved out of our place on Dec 23/95. It was so devastating. I was a wreck.

It seems like this is it and it won't get better, but I promise with a little time (and heartache, unfortunately) it will.

Everything happens for a reason.

He wasn't right.

You'll find that out when he's nursing a horse addiction and stealing from orphanages next christmas.
