Just dont get into the trap of working 6 days a week at a job that pays shit just because thats all that was available at the moment. You know the ones that keep you there from 9-5 then ask you to work doubles all the time when someone else calls off.

You can never go out and apply for another job or go to an interview, because your current job wont give you the time off to do it.

Its a trap. Even in the middle of a recession, be critical of who you decide to work for.

I've been out of work for 8 months (graphic artist). Should officially have a job tomorrow, and I'm sure this one will pretty much suck like most of the others.

Or have an ounce of understanding for what that's like? Especially when they can get all those "damned immigrants" - you know, the ones "draining" the economy by sucking up welfare - to do the same jobs for half the money.

This is progess, folks, and it's about to get worse...or better, I guess, depending on which side of the tracks you live on.
