<----- sick and whiney

I don't know why I'm making a thread about it. I'm just bored.

But dammit. I started coming down with a cold last night, and woke up today with it in full force, plus my whole body is sore from weight training yesterday, and I have menstrual cramps.

I thought taking my dog out to potty this morning was going to kill me (walking back up my stairs, more specifically).

But, I made some oatmeal and tea, and I'm catching up on my NPR geekery, so I guess that's good.

Anyway, if you guys could post lots of entertaining threads today, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

My in-laws sent me an xmas present, and I decided that I'm not into waiting to open presents.

It's a beautiful fuzzy blanket that I can cozy up with. Perfect for a sickly scrooge.

I had the flue early this year. It's a nasty one.

Shamefully, I have to tell you, when you "get better" the virus still holds on to you for over a month.

I had a breast exam this afternoon at the OB/GYN, but woke up this morning with a killer UTI. Looks like I ended up going there for two reason instead of one. I think I'd rather have a cold than a UTI right now.

Anyways...Get better Melissa! when I get sick, it always gets into my lungs and makes me a coughing fiend. It's been this way ever since I had pneumonia as a teenager.
