Today I made several spiced oranges to put on the Solstice/Yule alter

I used whole cloves and slivers of cinnamon sticks and they already have the whole living room smelling incredible

they look a little like this ( my cam is broke or I would show you mine ! )



do you make any spiced fruits for the holidays ? what do you use ?

i really enjoy making spiced oranges but i've never used cinnamon before. I bet your house smells wonderful.

I truly do love the smell of a spiced orange.

Sometimes my son does peeled apples impaled with clove that are then covered in cinamon

for as long as i can remember we have made spiced oranges for the holidays, when i was very little i would cry when the clove bud would break off the stem and i can even remember not being able to push the clove stick through the skin of the orange and my brother helping me ... i figure i was 3-5 yrs old then
