THE BIGGEST LOSER.......DID YOU CATCH WYLIE'S COMMENT?

The final three were on stage with Caroline Rae and Kai yelled out "Where are my girls at." You could hear Wylie say "I'm right here."

I don't know if he was out on the show. I don't think they ever mentioned it.My gaydar did go off though. I also don't know if he knew that his mic was on or not. Did anyone else catch it or was it just my imagination.

I do have to say that Erik is such an inspiration. I mean if someone can lose 160 pounds or whatever it was I'm sure I can lose 40.

Cheers.

Sure did. Of course there were professional trainers that pretty much lived with them and coached them through as well as dieticians and medical doctors that oversaw each program. Anyone seeking to start an exercise or diet program should get the approval of their physician first.

The reason they lost so much weight so fast was that they exercised around 6 hours a day and they had a strict diet.

The trainers mentioned that even 1 to 2 pounds lost, a week, is good.

That's reasonable. The trick is that it has to be a part of your life....FOREVER. It's hard to accept but that's the truth. The good thing is that you really do feel much better. That's why I feel like crap. I haven't worked out in a while.

You nailed it 100%. Working out(weight-training/cardio) and eating right has to be part of your daily routine, like brushing your teeth. You do it without thinking about it. If you look at it as a chore, you're doomed to failure. Yeah it's hard work(and sometimes painful), but you can't f--- around with your health, especially when you hit 40. Besides health care is expensive, so strive to be in the best shape possible.

that is really such a great thing to see. if they can keep it up it will ad years and years to their lives. it is like being reborn. i never watched the show as it was going but wow i did see the last one. i just hope they portray it as a life style and health thing as opposed to just losing weight.

a lady at work is 300+ and i heard her say "i have been on this diet for 3 weeks and i have only lost 5 pounds, that is not enough i a going to quit" to which i said "do not diet to lose weight...that will not work,,, change your life style to gain life" she is now well on her way to a healthy life!

I love this show! it is so inspiring! I actually think they are on the ranch for almost 4 months then they go home for I think 2 months so all in all it's about 6 months but still!!! to loose 100+ lbs in 6 months is amazing!

but even the people who were sent home (this season had 1 contestant from each state but only like 13 or so stayed) were still in the competition and some of them did remarkably well even though they had thier regular lives going on.
My brother does a biggest loser competion at his work....hmmm, I should get something like that going at my work.

I saw that one lady Poppy on the finale. She was too cute.....and so tiny now. Some look as if they've lost a little too much weight now lol All of that in 3 months is insane. lol 6 hours a day excercising.....I don't think too many people have 6 hours to devote to excercise.

I saw the finale and caught the last half of the season and the transformations were simply amazing. It's helped me FINALLY start working at losing weight too. I joined Weight Watchers a couple of weeks ago and I'm already seeing results. It's all about discipline which is something I realize I didn't and in many areas still don't have with food. I've also walked more since I can't afford a gym membership.

I'm seeing that it's all in the small things. For me, when I go home from work, instead of taking the bus from the subway, I walk home instead. We all have to start somewhere. Once we take the first step, then we can proceed to go futher. I hope those guys on Biggest Loser can keep the weight off and I wish everyone here going through issues with weight and food all the success to overcome.

Oh and I caught what Wylie said and I had to laugh. My gaydar was ringing with him once he opened his mouth but when he said that, I was like, "Yeah, he's family". lol

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
