About the only thing I can say is that there haven't been any more jetliners crashing into skyscrapers over the last year...

That's positive.

That is a positive thing that he has done!

Let's not focus all this negative attention on the man... just look at how he has helped SkeletonKee!

Keep up the great work, George W.!

I know you all know these, but here goes anyway. Some cool stuff from http://www.bushisms.com. Churchill had "we will fight on the beaches" and all that crap. Here's real eloquence:

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."
Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000
---

"I will have a foreign-handed foreign policy."
Redwood, Calif., Sept. 27, 2000

---
"One of the common denominators I have found is that expectations
rise above that which is expected." --Los Angeles, Sept. 27, 2000

---

"...more and more of our imports are coming from overseas."
-- On NPR's Morning Edition (9/26) - (Thanks Paul ...)

Seriously, how this guy got to be president is just a mystery to non-Americans. There was an excellent BBC doco called "The Accidental President" which I suppose got no air play at all in the States. O.k., Americans, you've made your point. You do have a truly wacky, ironic sense of humour. Right, we get it, ha, ha. Well done you guys, but please, please, don't elect him again (but will he even come close to George Snr.'s immortal "vision thing"??).

George W. Bush bought the election. No big deal. In these days politicians can literally buy elections. People know this. Big money talks.

Well, I did come up with the SNL thing. He's probably provided comedians everywhere with material that has saved their stagnant careers!

Oh, and he has managed to unite the world (unfortunately, they're all united against the US)!

He made me realize that I am glad that I know the things that I know, and that he obviously doesn't know those things. Also, he made me realize just how ignorant some people are, and actually, I turn this knowledge into positive things. big grin

- He knows how to stuff a pair of levis.
- He's handsome enough to model Sears' men fashion.
- I'm pretty sure they saved design money on Planet of the Apes by simply using his features for many characters.
- He's disarmingly... simple.
- He does a mighty good puppet.
- He knows where Canada is.
- He can distinguish his twins almost all the time.
- He's pretty good with a chainsaw.
- He knows he's not very smart.
- Everybody else does too.

Bush handled the 9/11 situation very well. I don't believe Al Gore could have come across as effectively or as "tough" sounding as Bush did. George can be intimidating with his cocky ass gestures.

I must say though that "war" is the only issue I think Bush is comfortable with. I would take Gore on almost every other policy (both domestic and foreign). I'm uncomfortable with George W. talking about the economy, education, environmental issues, etc.
