I love Danny Kaye!

I watched this every year as a child.

This one hasn't been mentioned yet. The music is so great.

I also agree with the Christmas story! I love how there are some jokes that would go over a child's head, but they laugh and enjoy it anyway.

Not a Christmas movie, but they always show it at Christmas, to me it feels like a Christmas movie.

I adore watching a good Christmas movie.

I've watched Polar Express twice this year already.

Other favourites are:
- The Grinch
- It's A Wonderful Life
- Miracle on 34th Street
- Scrooge, A Christmas Carol and Scrooged
- Elf

And I also like watching Thanksgiving movies at Xmas, because we don't have Thanksgiving here - Planes Trains and Automobiles always makes me laugh and feel good. And stories like Ann of Green Gables and Polyanna (and Little House on The Prarie).

I totally agree with both of those! "Bad Santa" falloff

Plus, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (which is not a "movie", technically), "Scrooged" and the version of "A Christmas Carol" with Patrick "I'm too sexy for my shirt" Stewart drool

"The Nightmare Before Christmas"

And all of those 50s/60s Rankin-Bass stop animation ones.

my favorite part is when judy davis plans the big christmas dinner with the crazy menu items and the evil, pretentious grandmother says "are we supposed to EAT this?"

and judy says (brilliantly, i might add): "why don't you EAT ME?" lol

christine baranski is wonderful in this film too. and kevin spacey. great cast. i could even tolerate denis leary.

I wish I could share christmas with someone I love (other than my parents, dipshits). sigh
