It's cold enough here to snow (33 degrees right now).....but no rain for days I think. You know it actually snowed in Charleston not too long ago. Then only days after that temps. were back in the low 70's....that is really crazy. I'm still thinking about that hot cocoa thread and thoses marshmallows. hmmm Go sledding. Find a great hill and take hot chocolate. Build a fire if possible. Or Ice skating....It's 60 degrees here in Arizona. Or.. give the kids a choice of what to do. (talk on the phone with friends..NO!) They need encouragement to do things with parents. Bake homemade pizza. I have a great recipe with sun dried tomatoes, feta, roasted eggplant, basil, etc. Do a "build our own pizza" session and teach them how to cook if they don't. Get a variety of ingredients to choose from. Take advantage of the captivities. They'll be too busy later in life to spend time. [Edited 12/7/06 22:17pm] | |

We had almost a foot of snow over here about a month ago, and they didn't cancel school for anyone! I woke up and opened the shades, and I couldn't see past my backyard...yet buses drove out in that stuff.  | |
