Ex-Moderator | everyone pity me!! or, ya know, indulge me while I whine.
My car wouldn't start this morning! I was forced to stand in below zero temperatures for waaaaay too long waiting for a stupid bus to take me to work. My toes were in serious pain, they were so cold. And I have a million errands to run before Saturday and now they will take me 8000 times as long and I'm limited as to where I can go cause of the stupid bus!!! I have to buy a car now. In other news, I got my hair colored last night and it looks gorgeous, so at least I have that. [Edited 12/7/06 5:44am] |

Ex-Moderator | I don't think you people understand the magnitude of this.
It was at LEAST 20 minutes. And it's below 0!! (That's below -18, for you centigrade folks!) And it was still dark! My toes could be frost-bitten, you people! Let's up the pity party a bit, shall we? |

I recommend procuring a glass elevator as a mode of transportation.
Great Glass Elevators are much more reliable and efficient (though you do have to take care where you park them!) versus the standard automobile. I'm sorry for your troubles and frozen toes. You know, an effective way to help forget one's own troubles and feel better is to spread happiness to those around one. With that in mind, please post a photograph of your beautiful self with your new haircolor, as that will surely brighten the day of anyone viewing this thread.

No more camera, I'm afraid. I'm asking for one for Xmas, though so maybe soon. |

Seriously, I can relate to the freezy cold woes. I have to stand outside and wait for the bus every morning (or else walk to the train), and even under two layers of socks my toes were about to snap off.
My apartment was also faaaa-reeeezing this morning when I woke up. I know it'll be toasty warm when I get home today, though. So it's all good, I guess. I have no hair to color anymore, so I can't really speak to that. I guess I could finger paint my scalp. That sounds pervy.

Until then, I shall remain tormented by the knowledge that you are somewhere out there looking gorgeous and I am unable to behold it.

Under normal conditions I shower with my bathroom door open cause I hate getting ready in all that steam. Lately, however, I've been leaving it shut to keep it all warm and cosy. |

i'm sorry that you had to wait in the cold for a bus and that your car wouldn't start. My car's been acting like a jerk lately, too and just in time for final exams. But cute hair is always a plus so..um.. hair pics please!

I hate the fact that I'm expected to know shit about them and what not. All I know is how to put gas in it and drive it and I think that's fine but my friend keeps lecturing me about how I need to know about belts and alternators, and all this other crap. I'm sorry but I pay people to take care of my car. stupid car. But driving is better than walking, especially in inclement weather.
