so where were the bananas from?
lol there is a joke here about grocery stores and their use of signage indicating "IMPORTED" in the banana displays... as though we might confuse them for those domestic bananas if it wasn't spelled out for us

I don't eat actual bananas on a regular basis, but I do like banana related desserts. I have some Bananas Foster cups in the fridge right now. They're by Kozy Shack, the same company that makes this rice pudding that I love. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Always when people mention bananas it reminds me of a rich female friend of mine who was sent to a private Austrian school to learn good manners when she was in her early teens. She told me that one of the lessons was dedicated to the fine art of eating a banana properly. The students (all girls in their early teens or younger) were taught to eat it from the side so that people wouldn't think it looked like they were giving a blowjob.

How do you 'eat it from the side'? Anyway you look at it, it's gonna look naughty. |

How do you 'eat it from the side'? Anyway you look at it, it's gonna look naughty. She actually showed me how she'd been taught to eat it (she basically held it vertically as usual, took a bite halfway through it on one side, then bit off the rest from the other side. And yes, it did look naughty too.

If I were teaching young ladies to eat a banana and not have it look like that they'd have to cut it and eit off a plate with a fork. |
