Do something different
Go to a place u've never been Try a new food call an old friend etc. A change of pace awakens something inside. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Take a short vacation to either a city with a great deal of history and architecture, or to a city known for its art.

WRITE EVERY DAY. even if it's just journal stuff. WRITE EVERY DAY.
carry a notepad in your bag that is just meant for creative ideas you get. spend a day just browsing at the library - look at the art books, the music books, design books - this always gets me inspired. go to an art supply store and get yourself a sketchbook and some stuff to draw with - don't worry about what's 'correct' to use - if it's colored markers for kiddies, so be it! color. seriously. get a nice coloring book (i found some cool architectural ones) and color while you're watching tv or on the phone. WRITE EVERY DAY.

I echo the previous suggestions that you try unfamiliar things and experience new places, music, art, etcetera. Expanding one's horizons and stretching one's mind is imperative to finding inspiration and keeping the creative juices flowing.
I find associational thinking to be helpful when at a loss creatively. A simple exercise demonstrating associational thinking is to write down a word: be the word an object, an emotion, a concept, a place. Then, write your personal definition of that word, and what it means to you. Be as descriptive as possible. Then ask others to do the same exercise, and compare their responses to yours. Seeing things from a fresh perspective and through others' eyes can unleash many new ideas and jumpstart creativity.
