do you own a diary or a journal?

if so, how often do you write in it?

I find it very theraputic to write in my diary. i've been keeping one since the 6th grade. back then i use to write in it at least once a week. now i only write in it once in a blue moon. i find it funny reading my entries back then when my problems, then seemed like such a big deal, are basically nothing compared to the things i deal with emotionally now. biggrin
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

it's a great escape
unfortunately, i haven't written an entry in almost a year...
what i DO however, is i have a notebook i call "randomness" and i write what i'm thinking right there @ that moment... i hold nothing back, because really, if i didnt it wouldn't help me get over it...

that to me helps, instead of documenting my life, it's moreso a look at in my mind and heart.. nod

I actually have 2. I have a "Rhyme Bible" That I spit my venomous verse on and a journal that has my random thoughts and notes from church in!

I have finished five and started a sixth...I started keeping one when I was in 3rd grade and used to write in them regularly up until a couple years ago. I should start up again, but then I feel like I don't know where to start because so much has happened in those years that I wasn't writing stuff down...

I have completed three journals so far. I am in the habit of writing everyday. I keep them in my room. They're safe there. I always lock my room when I leave home to school. It is very helpful when I get into a situation that I can't stop thinking about and can't seem to find a solution. Also, it is great to keep track of habits that I am trying to change.

No. For some reason, people always end up reading it.

I kept a journal in middle school and the shit wound up in my brother's room. So, that's the last time I made one.

I've kept a journal ever since junior high school I stopped for a while but have gone back to journalizing in recent years, use to have one online but I missed the art of actually writing things down so I went back writing in my journal again.

I have a Live Journal on-line since 2004, before then I have hand written journals dating back to 1992. Reading that sh*t can b pretty strange and sometimes depressing. I really like Sammi's idea of a "random thoughts" journal. That could b cool.

There are two kinds of people - those who don't do what they want to do, so they write down in a diary about what they haven't done, and those who are too busy to write about it because they're out doing it!
