wacky

They are selling for $2,000-$3,000 on Ebay. Do you make $1,300 to $2,300 in 24 hours? It might not be all that wacky.

Why don't these stores hand out tickets to the first 50, or however many
PS3's they ordered, and send these poor folks on they're way home. That way those people could come and buy these things at their convience and you don't have all of this mayhem...just tell everyone without a ticket that they sold out already.

Too simple? confuse
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I wish people would calm down about shit. Just cos something comes out doesn't mean you need to be shooting people or whatever.

At my local walmart, we had people staying, since Sunday, in the damned layaway area sitting on those benches. There were six PS3s, but eight people in the line. rolleyes So anyway, two of them towards the head of the 5 day line got into a physical altercation so they got tossed out. smile
This one's for you.

I just read about this in this morning's paper. Ridiculous. I don't know if it said it in the article that was originally posted, but I also read that someone else got attacked by a gang of five guys and had his PS3 stolen that he had just waited in line for 30 hours to buy!

These stores should be providing security.

The Meijer in my town had only five kids waiting all night for the PS3, and they provided them with lawn chairs, chicken fingers and donuts and coffee.

I've waited in line at that same store for Harry Potter book releases at midnight (yes, I'm a 34 year old dork), and they passed out candy, cake and punch. And that line was 100's of people long.

I'm trying to get a Wii for my kids. The Wal Mart manager here told me they were handing out tickets beginning at 10 p.m. I'm not planning on waiting in line for it though. I'm waiting a couple weeks when stores get another shipment in.
