Here's a few pics of our baby Buddy, a two year old male Maltese. He's pure bred, but ooops we had him fixed while we were in Mexico. We got him on my birthday Oct 11th (little Buddy's b'day is Oct 10th!) and we love him. He's nine pounds, fully grown but still a puppy and house trained, knows commands, etc. He was a bit of a bastard at first- I think he wasn't used to us, maybe didn't trust us- but he's adjusted just fine and is a sweet boy. We're not feeling that poodle puppy cut and will probably keep him clipped, cut some length off his ear hair, and let him grow a beard. Buddy's smart as a whip- you can see him thinking and it's a step ahead. I'll get some more pics- took many, but most he's a fur-blur!

And he's good for Drew- Love the best medicine!





A neighbor of my mother's friend is moving and can't take their 2 year old Maltese, Buddy, with them. Drew and I have decided that Buddy can come live with us. We've been talking seriously about getting a dog for sometime. Drew's been very depressed and I think it would be good for him to have a friend to keep him company while I'm at work. We're leaving Sunday for a much need vacation to Mexico. We plan on bringing Buddy home when we get back.
