that movie should have it's G-rating revoked disbelief

the reason why all disney child characters have to have at least one parent killed is so they can go out and have exciting adventures they would otherwise not be allowed to have.

I should get the boys the turtles, they would love it - is it G or PG?

I meant the Turtles in Nemo.....lol ..... Like Tootaally Duuude.....

falloff I thought you meant the ninja turtles!

This movie always makes me nostalgic and gets a tear out of my eye (usually the left one).

Its a deep movie in some ways. Its telling us that we need to know our place in society, and that as you grow up, things will never be the same again. That message cuts me quite deep. It has no happy ending either, which is surprising

Dont let the cute factor get in the way, this movie is very good and overlooked.

What other movies make u either very sad or moved, or shed a tear?

christ, that movie is depressing as hell! i think i saw it when i was 4, and even then i knew it was wrist-slittingly depressing. i haven't even seen it since, but whenever i think about it, i get really depressed, even though i can't even remember *exactly* what was so sad about it.

weird. i was just thinking of this movie the other day.

The last 30 minutes or so of Return of the King. It's all so depressing.

Okay, NOBODY seems to remember this movie, it's from the 70's. I think it was called "Eric" and it was about a guy who died from leukemia. The saddest part was when Eric was lying on his bed dying. His mom or sister or whoever was sitting there next to him, saying, "You're almost there, Eric. You're almost there." I remember watching it with my mom and crying. My mom was looking at me like, "What is your problem?" She probably did that because I didn't like to cry in front of people (still don't). lol Not sure if this movie is out on DVD, but I need to go look for it.

Another one is the movie, "My Girl" (the first one). Not the whole movie per se, but the part that made me tear up was when the little boy dies and they're having his funeral service. The little girl couldn't bear to be there, so she's sitting on the steps outside the service, crying. Then all of a sudden she comes into the room where they're having a service, and asks the minister, "Where's his glasses? He can't see without his glasses!" That really made me cry, it was soo damn sad! What's funny is that my sister-in-law and I were talking about this movie once, and she said the same thing about that scene from the movie. Now every time I hear the song, "My Girl", I picture those two little kids from the movie riding around on their bikes.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Oooh, that was the movie I was trying to think of the other day. Isn't that the one about the young woman who was married and had a daughter? The young woman dies of bone cancer at the end. The movie was based on the diary that she wrote, in fact, I read the book at one point in time. It was a sad story. sad

Artificial Intelligence got me. Damn you kid from Sixth Sense! lol

Saving Private Ryan, Stepmom, Ghost and Sweet November of all things almost got me too. There's more I'm sure. Of course I'd follow those movies up with a dose of Clint to restore order to the universe. cool

Then there are those tears of a different kind after sitting through the likes of Soul Plane, Hudson Hawk, American Pie III (or whatever it was called), and any Eddie Murphy movie post Coming to America.
