I just got a weird phone call... my phone rang with an 0800 number... I answered it a couple of seconds went by with noone answering and then the call ended
I called the number back and there was a recorded message saying "LLoyds bank has tried to contact you and will try again at a more convenient time" wtf? 
I sure as hell hope my account hasn't been breached... anyone had similar stories? please I wanna know even if its bad...  | |

It's probably a sales call, trying to sell you insurance on a credit card or an upgrade to your account or something.
They dial numbers automatically and, if an operator is available, they will talk to you. Sometimes nobody is available at their end to initiate the call and they hang up. I hate automatic calls like that.  | |

I sure as hell hope my account hasn't been breached... anyone had similar stories? please I wanna know even if its bad... don't ever call back an 800 number like that. whenever I pick up the phone and after a couple of seconds i don't hear anything I immediately hang it up. You never know it could be a scam. Just like now, everyday these NCO financial people keep calling the house but they never give a name to call back just the 866 number they leave and they never direct the message to anyone in the household directly. Just that it is important to call them back. So i could be calling from any line to return the call and they could just be selling me something. But i don't trust any message that doesn't ask for anyone in the household directly by name. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

Anyways they were asking me all their little questions and then they asked me if I ever had an account with them before, and I said no. They they type everything up or whatever, and the lady goes, Um you must have had an account with us, because your in our computer already, and she read off my social, my old address, and everything. I was like I swear to God, I don't even know how to WRITE a check, I said thats wierd, I swear I didn't. And she was like, well its here, and the account was closed in 2005 so don't worry about it.
