I'm a lousy driver and I have a million lousy driving stories.

As for what kind of driver I generally drive about 20mph over the speed limit on highways, and about 10-15mph over the limit on city roads. i'm an ok driver. i've had 2 tickets since 1998.

1 was for speeding, lol, a total of 3 miles an hour too fast. € 45,-



1 was for parking on a lawn for a total of 4 minutes. € 65,-



plus i've had my car totalled twice already by old semi-blind dudes
who smashed into my car as i stood for a light or a turn.

although that kinda didn't turn out too bad both times since i've a
very good insurance that gives me the total catalogueprice for the
car if it is wrecked within 1.5 years.

Hell on wheels.

I'm ok. In 10 years of driving, I've had two speeding tickets and one minor parking lot accident.

I have to say, getting a speedy, sporty car (1990 BMW 325ic) has made me a more. . . um. . . aggressive driver. It's just that the car can do whatever I want to do, effortlessly. . . I just THINK about it and it does it. . . and sometimes what I want to do is get ahead of that slow mutherfucker in the lane next to me. That's all.

I'm a very safe driver. I had a fender bender when I was 16 that wasn't my fault. I used to drive fast, but now I just chill in the slow lane and still it's incredibly dangerous out there, and getting more dangerous every day.

Road rage is no joke, and people forget that driving is deadly.

Oh, I forgot I got rear ended about a year ago when the light turned green and the guy behind me didn't wait for me to go before he did.

people staring at you from their car and if you so much as glance at

a few months ago some insane prick just chased my brother for almost
an hour! and for no reason. my brother was doing 80 km/ph where he's
allowed 80 km/ph so some idiot comes up behind him. doing 120 and he
can just overtake my brother since there's no one on the road.

still he chose not to and harass my brother clinging on to his car,
giving him the big lights, honking and shit.

so my brother pulls off the road into a small town and this dude is
still at his rear. finally my brother puts the car next to the road
and dude stops as well, gets out and makes the "i will shoot you"
gesture with his hands.



then my brother tried to drive away and this shit followed him all
the way round the district for an hour!

my brother called my at home and told me to take my car out of the
garage and leave the gate open so he could cruise around the curve
and quickly put his car in the garage. and so we did. he drove into
the garage and i slammed the door shut.

that's how my brother finally lost the nut.

this seems to be the trouble. The "protection" of metal and the impersonal nature of us being seperated makes people act in ways they never would face to face.

I think people also don't realize that driving is stressful because we do it every day. The stress makes us act out with rage.

3 accidents in 24 yrs each being the other person fault for truning left INTO oncomming traffic ( me ) all 3 persons were issued a ticket

After 12 years, no at-fault accidents or tickets. I've gotten two written warnings, but I don't consider them "tickets" because in Indiana (where I was living at the time), written warnings don't get reported to the state or put on your driving record.

The first warning was for having a headlight out, on the same night it burned out. I'd already tried to fix it, but the auto parts store had closed for the night. (The "real" reason for stopping me might have been the paper temporary license plate on my car.)

The second warning was for driving a Miata at 63 mph in a 45 mph construction zone. I have no idea how I managed to get off with a warning for that.

I did flunk the written test when I moved here and applied for a Washington state driver license. And they've since changed the rules and started waiving the written test for new residents with a valid out-of-state license.

I'm a very cautious and nervous driver. Heavy traffic terrifies me.

I mostly just ride the bus these days. No need to worry about parking and sometimes vagrants touch my penis (they think they're violating me, but I LOVE IT).

I had a few fender benders when I was quite young and I was in a fairly serious accident once, but it wasn't my fault. Someone had fallen asleep at the wheel and was rounding a corner at 3am in the rain coming towards me head on in my lane.

Though I've been pulled over once or twice, I've never had a ticket. I'm a very cautious driver. I don't speed, I stop for lights and stop signs and I generally obey traffic rules.

i cant drive, but if i could i would rack up on speeding tickets

No, the school zone incident involved my ex-wife. She got ticketed for speeding in a school zone... in front of the school where she was teaching. Luckily for her, the supervising officer who reviewed the ticket happened to be the cop who did educational presentations at the school. He called her up and said he'd throw out her ticket.

My last *accident* was my first, which is pretty good so to speak..

anyway I was driving along a counrty road, took a corner in 4th gear, couldnt handle it and ended up in a hedgerow.. my brother and sister falling from the back into the front seats.. my Mum told me to get out and she would take over the wheel..

about a year and a half ago I ran a red light and hit the side of a car.

It wasnt my fault though. The light posts were on the corners of the street and a deliver truck was parked at the corner so I couldn't see it.
