Mine would be the kitchen probably.. with my living room a very close second..

MY fav place is really outside the house... on the front deck overlooking the mountians

The basement...does that count as a room?

The bedroom, when it's cold. I put a fire in the fireplace, I have a cozy wingback chair and foot stool for reading. I made a set of Victorian era stained glass windows with beveled fleur de lis patterns for the windows, so atmosphere and lighting is perfect. NO TV, just an old 1930's cabinet with sound system. Middle Eastern rugs on the hardwood floor.

My back room (no puns please). I have a big screen t.v. there. I watch all my shows on my uncomfortable couch.(I'm working on that.)

My teeny-tiny bedroom, hands-down. I need more posters for it, though.

I have 2-the loft upstairs, the computer is up here & my art room..my little hideaway

Right now it's my basement which is unfinished. Once I get my office done, then that will be my favorite room.

In other words, it's whereever my computer is.

Granted, I have a nice big kitchen, but I don't spend a lot of time there. And my porch is nice, but not in the winter. And my bathroom us decorated ok, but it doesn't have a bathtub.

So, yeah, my room is my favorite room.

I have this relatively tiny study, that is made tinier for being book-lined. I have my computer in there and stereo, tv, etc., as well as all of my papers and projects etc.

But it's cozy.

Lucy likes to crawl around the corner into the doorway and look up at me and laugh while I am trying to read.



I am worried about her dedication to the life of the mind.

Our kitchen sucks. It's fairly big, but not great space, you know?

I would love a decent kitchen, with copper pots (Belgian) hanging from above, a butcher's block, etc.

But now I live with my mother in her tiny apartment, surrounded by my boxes. I dont like any room.
