It's me again!!

As some of y'all may know (or not) I recently deployed back into G-Dub's sandbox for the third time.....didn't get a chance to post an outtie message before I left....just dropping in to say whats up y'all....I'm safe (for now) loading and unloading equipment in Kuwait before heading north into the box.....

Its hot as Hades here....blazing hot....Arizona on steroids kinda heat....the first day on the port, it was a wonderfully scorching 132 degrees @ 100% humidity....now I know what a crawfish feels like when its getting boiled... ....at the other base camp that we were at before the port, the temp is the same without the humidity...but with daily sandstorms and 35-50mph winds....the wind blows so hot that ur hands feel like they're over a BBQ grill....while getting cut to shreds by the sand....other than that, its not so bad....

for now not a lot going on....just work.....but when we get to our final destinations thats when the fun really starts....I'll pop in from time to time and post some pix that won't cause big brother to shit his pants...so y'all take care....

Hi Guys...You are all so wonderful! The support that Renegade feels from this site is overwhelming. It means so much to me and him to know that there are people who support him and his troops. It has been hard the past couple of weeks adjusting to my husband being gone. I haven't been around that much due to trying to get settled and being by myself for the 4th time. He will be getting here more once he is settled and is looking forward to posting more often.

He is really excited about having his post become a sticky. Probably singing "Baby, I'm a Star!" right now...

Thanks for all your support and making my husband happy. It was good to hear his voice filled with a smile...

pretty big....not '50s B-movie big...but freaky is definitely the word to describe them....they are very aggressive...they actually will chase u if u try to bow up on them....hate the light...so they scurry to the dark and to hell with whatever is in their way....I'm not entirely sure, but they tend to pick on animals more than humans, but humans don't scare them.....

of course, Soldiers being Soldiers (in essence, kids being kids no matter their respective ranks and ages...) we tend to catch these critters after the terror subsides and make them fight....scorpions too....crazy amount of nothing to do amuse ourselves sometimes....and we all know it doesn't take much to entertain some folks....

(note: no animals were actually harmed during the posting of this post!!)
