Nope, but I've had long intervals between drinks, sometimes a couple years. No reason, just have spells when I don't want alcohol. I drink it when I want to,not when I don't, that's all.

I ask because last night I had rather a blowout and was asked to leave the club my friends and I went to. It was quite funny, but at the same time, it had never happened to me before and combined with the shattered nature of my voice and mind due to alcohol and yelling/screaming all night (due to a lotta loud music and dancing/screaming to my favourite songs), it made me think my partying days were truly coming to a close. The main reason being to keep my health! I am slowly recovering today but have been coughing up a lot of unhealthy looking things (I've been smoking again lately ) and my voice is pretty much shot for the first time in my life except for when I sing in a band (which is a different thing).

So, I think I am going to try cutting out all smoking, drinking, drugs and alcohol for the second time in my adult life. I once managed being completely clean except for coffee for 2 years (again this is in my adult life) and starting tonight, I am going to cool it again for a while. My body seems to just be telling me it needs a rest, man!

Sounds reasonable to me. We should always try to be aware of what our bodies are telling us. We would all save ourselves some grief if we did that.

I'm not actually teetotal but I rarely drink.

Haven't had a drink in about 15 years, give or take. Just stopped liking alcohol.
