The Big Breakfast!

I started out with 3 large eggs scrambled cooking flat in a butter pan. 2 pices of cheter cheese and a heaping helping of ham. made it into a omlet for two, but I ate it all.

What do you think about a big breakfast.

Hours later and I'm still full, but I've had alot of energy today. smile

Ugh. NO breakfast for me usually. One cup of coffee, is grand enough. However, I did fry up two eggs this morning... and strangely enough, zero coffee. "That's why I have a slight headache..."

Damn it!

biggrin

Ps~ Over consumption is not a good idea. wink

I think that's a learned behavior. I use to be like that, and in many ways I still do that, not eating breakfast, but then by the time I get "hungry", my blood sugar is low and my system thrown off.

Sounds good. I often like to start the day with a few fried egg sandwiches or maybe an omelette, or failing that some Heinz baked beans on toast with sausages.

yeah i have to watch my blood sugar too. i sometimes forget to eat. i wish there was a way we could hook up to a nutrient machine overnight so we wouldn't have to eat during the day, unless we wanted to for fun

I've come to find as long as I keep up high doses of B vidermans, I'm good enough to get by.

Idealy, we should eat several small "meals" a day.

I'm eating breakfast right now and today it's 'guayjap'. It's basically a hearty soup with noodles, boiled egg slices, liver, fried pork blood, crispy pork, chives, and various pieces of one animal or another that I don't recognise (kidneys maybe or from around the heart?). Might sound awful to some, but it's delicious, and a great hangover cure. You just season with a little white pepper, some chili if you like, and a little vinegar.

On no, it's not if you eat but what you eat. If I have to much breads/cerials I'll get tired to.

Though if you stick to fats and proteens, it seems to work for me.

I agree.

A 12 oz cup of coffee (Ideally from work), I usually make it when I get there, or at least a fresh pot for all Peds staff. Key go getter... 10 packs of sugar, for my one 12 oz. cup. lol

I eat a good lunch...

That will most than likely do just good for me. I have never been a big eater. ~Such a bothersome sometimes~ biggrin

I love it. Gives me so much energy. Rice soup with liver and chives is good too. Oh, and have to crack a couple of eggs in there too and add a dash of vinegar. drool I like to eat that at the end of a night out in Khao San Road.

okay in honor of this thread i have created a tasty protein drink to satisfy our need for both nutrition and ease of consumption.
something for everyone, you could say:

Ingredients:

one cup eggs, scrambled
one quarter cup cheddar cheese, shredded
one half cup milk
one cup orange juice
two slices toast
three slices pineapple

Directions:

Put ingredients into blender and blend on high for three minutes. Serve.
