That being said, my first honest response when I read your idea for a tat was "cute, but tired."

In one of my many periods contemplating a tatoo (prolly late 90s) I thought about doing a blue star(s) in just the place you described. Then I spent a weekend walking round Uptown and as every hipster walking by had that tat in that place, I changed my mind.

Now I'll take it full circle though and say if you really want it, fuck the 'trend' and do it.

But then, nothing is all that meaningful to me. Well, people are and my kitty are, but 'things' and designs really aren't. For me tattoos are just decoration, adornment... an accessory, if you will.
