Anyone remember the show Roc? Was on Fox, was about human beings not stereotypes, was about a realistic black family and their troubles in society. Really was a good show. Like the episodes where En Vogue starred. Too bad shows like that cannot be made. I may be white, but I do like diversity of images and style, instead of the UPN bufoonery. Remember it well.
Starred... ...Charles Dutton and Ella Joyce playing his wife Eleanor. Good characters, even his no good, trumpet playing brother Joey Franklyn Ajaye did some writing for that show. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I LOVED that show!
I was sad when it was canceled. I'm firmly planted in denial | |

Great show. Most of that cast came from the stageplay The Piano Lesson so they already had a natural feel for one another and that's why they were seamless in their performances. I loved it when they went "live" for a full season and did their thang, that shit took major guts and they pulled it off beautifully. ~This brown experience made me the man that I was meant to be~
