OK, SATURDAY MORNING KID TV SHOW VETERANS, I NEED YOUR HELP! Who remembers that TV show called "That's Cat"? It was on in the late 70s-Early 80s and tt used to come on NBC early Saturday mornings like around 7AM (Yeah, I know, I was an early riser and still am!). "Whitney and the Robot" would follow it.
The show was about these 2 people, a woman and a man, but they acted like kids and the man was mute. It had a cool ass theme song that was catchy as hell. They would go on fun excursions and kids would learn as they watched it, of course. Whitman Mayo of "Sanford & Son" fame played the girl's Grandpa and she would talk to him as a P.O.V. and he would give her wisdom. It had different segments from what I remember. How come NO ONE remembers that show BUT me! Tell me I'm not the ONLY ONE! ~This brown experience made me the man that I was meant to be~

I never saw it and imdb doesn't list it. Hoiwever, tvparty.com mentions it...
A couple of shows ...on Sunday mornings in Los Angeles... [] "There was also a show called That's Cat starring Alice Playten and a guy that never talked named "Me". The guy that played Grady on Sanford and Son was also on it as Alice's grandfather. [Edited 8/25/06 19:31pm] | |
