You might prefer the way some of those recordings were mastered on Greatest Hits or The Essential Bruce Springsteen, but they were mixed to pop on AM radio, so they'll probably always skew towards the trebly side.

i am always surprised by how close nebraska seems to me... definately road trip do-able
i guess when i picture in my mind where it should be on the map i think further south and east

yeah i think the mastering is probably DDD. Transfered to digital from analog tapes. It should sound better is the bottom line. I love the track "streets of philadelphia" aswell. Obvious choice, but i love it. One of my all time favs. Love the video too. Makes me think of when i used to live in the USA
