Those tracks came out of sessions done from '82 to '84 at The Hit Factory, so you can be sure they're analog. 'Sides: you can record/mix/master music high-endy in either format. You might prefer the way some of those recordings were mastered on Greatest Hits or The Essential Bruce Springsteen, but they were mixed to pop on AM radio, so they'll probably always skew towards the trebly side. yeah i think the mastering is probably DDD. Transfered to digital from analog tapes. It should sound better is the bottom line. I love the track "streets of philadelphia" aswell. Obvious choice, but i love it. One of my all time favs. Love the video too. Makes me think of when i used to live in the USA [Edited 8/24/06 21:17pm]

I've frequented the North Platte River on a few trips- it's awesome! Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I ended up going to graduate school at the University of Utah, so I drove through several times on trips there and back. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Even then the folks in town said with prejudiced eyes That boy's not right Three years ago when I came to know Mary First time that someone looked beyond the rumors and the lies And saw the man inside We used to walk down by the river She loved to watch the sun go down We used to walk along the river And dream our way out of this town No one understood what I felt for Mary No one cared until the night she went out walking alone And never came home Man with a badge came knocking next morning Here was I surrounded by a thousand fingers suddenly Pointed right at me I swear I left her by the river I swear I left her safe and sound I need to make it to the river And leave this old Nebraska town I think about my life gone by And how it's done me wrong There's no escape for me this time All of my rescues are gone, long gone I swear I left her by the river I swear I left her safe and sound I need to make it to the river And leave this old Nebraska town I love Richard Marx! cool!!
