LOVED the challenge - very very clever and cute!

alright, i hate vincent, who doesn't? but i was GOBSMACKED that he actually did something decent. it's a shame it took him half the season to do so, but there ya go. i still will be pleading with the fashion gods that he gets kicked off next week.

uli should have won, though. hers was stunning. but she'll get hers, cause she will make it to fashion week, and vincent won't.

micheal (my boy) turned in another AWESOME outfit, but there was no way he was gonna win it, he got the easiest person to make clothes for.

i now officially despise jeffrey. he has been getting more and more annoying each week, but his treatment of angela's mom was some hardcore bullshit. i could not believe that he had the audacity to treat a sweet old lady, or any person, like that. and the outfit was AWFUL. he should have gone home. he totally failed the challenge in every aspect. the client was not pleased, the outfit was awful, and he was a complete asshole to her for no reason on top of it.

but unfortunately, robert has turned in boring outfits for the last what? 5 challenges? i really didn't like him or kanye anymore after last week's "let's talk trash about everyone" conversation between the two.

and kanye... what was he thinking? of all the moms/sisters, i would have wanted micheal's mom, cause you could tell just looking at her on the runway the woman was vibrant and fun, and would be willing to take some chances and show some skin. and he covers her from neck to knee. i woulda put her in some lavender and opened her neckline up. made the woman sparkle. but, i really don't like kanye anymore either.

laura - i was SWEATING BULLETS! laura actually in the bottom 3 for the first time?? i was scared. but while the outfit didn't work, it wasn't as atrocious as jeffrey's.

angela. oh, ye of no taste. laura's mom would have been the other one i would have tried like hell to get, i mean, as old as she is, the woman was still elegant and shining on the runway. oh well, it wasn't terrible. just dumb.

was anyone else disturbed by how much michael kors and his mom resemble and sound and act just alike? although, i have to say, i really thought "you know, put some dark sunglasses on her and hand her a fan and she is the spitting image of karl lagerfeld." very cool lady though!

i was secretly hoping when time gunn came in and asked everyone to gatehr and said he had another suprise that it was going to be his mother coming in and guiding them with him saying "make it work" in a matching old lady gunn outfit and glasses.

so laura is pregnant... that is TOO COOL! i laughed so hard at her comment about just throwing the 6th child on the stack with the other 5. i love laura. she really is the flat chested second coming.

i am still predicting that it will be uli, laura, and michael at fashion week with michael to win.

I agree with you on most things.

I officially hate Jeffery now too...he was consistantly growing to be an ass, but I could see his points from time to time, but after treating Angela's mom the way he did...wow...he's a total psycho. Like Vincent said...his true colors finally came out...and I don't hate Vincent at all...I think he's just stuck in an old-school time machine...and although, Uli (who I love) deserved to win that challange, I was glad he won. The dress was beautiful!
I love Micheal and hope he wins this season. He's brilliant and such a sweet person...although, Uli is off the hook talented and also a sweetheart and Laura's taste levels and craftsmanship are through the roof.
I was really disappointed to see Kayne gossiping and also that he threw together some crappy outfits for the last two challenges.
I can't wait to see what happens next!

yea, i am over kanye. i liked him till he got all nasty gossipy with robert trash talking everyone on camera and then getting all indigniant when laura made a good-natured comment and he starts shrieking about how he will not be trash talked about on camera and how bullshit that is. my jaw dropped at his "do as i say, not as i do" crap. now i dont like him. and the last two outfits were craptacular. especially the garbage pixie one.

I made sure I caught the end, so I still have to see the deplorable treatment Jeffery gave, but what kind of crap were people making? I see better stuff in the large section of JCPenney's. I too, don't like Vincent, he creeps me out, but he obviously had a lot of good creativity stored up to make that outfit.

Laura is pregnant????? How in the hell does she make dresses and all and not puke in a bucket beside her table?. or worse, maybe she does all of that magnificently.

I want Michael, Uli, and Laura in fashion week too. Michael to win.

i don't get him anymore. he was such a sweetheart in the beginning, and then the last few episodes he has turned into a bitter little queen who will snap at anyone for almost no reason. laura had always liked him and been sweet to him, and totally meant the comment out of love and genuine concern for him, and he just snaps into her.

same with jeffrey. he was kinda pompous in the beginning, but harmless. but he has just been getting his head deeper and deeper into his own ass every week and then he was such an ass to angela's mom last night, and for no reason.

yes, LAURA pregnant. she only found out while the show was filming, and hasnt told her husband, and accidentally let it slip on camera to her mom, who did not seem pleased (it is her 6th child!!)

I can totally relate to Kors comment about being an only child and having to go everywhere with his mom, especially shopping. I'm an only child too.

Not to play Devil's Advocate here, but Angela's mom WAS being annoying and whiny. I have a feeling that whole fiasco was calculated on her part. She was being difficult on purpose to screw up his dress. Jeffrey's mom trying to console Angela's mom was kind of funny, because there seemed to be an undertone in her breath like "get over it bitch". LOL.

Vincent's dress had some interesting ideas. I liked the colors and the general look of it, but that collar was really awkward. It looked like it was swallowing her head, it was a strange shape.

Laura's starting to crack me up, because she's been flying off the handle unexpectedly too. Look at her flipping out on Kayne and Vincent recently, LOL.

PR this season has been very entertaining...I don't know the names of the designers, but the one designer who looks like Moe Greene from the godfather seems to always blame the others for his lack of imagination...you know, this guy

I'm actually going to miss Kanye and Robert's conversations. I thought they were funny. And bitchy yes!

My take:

Vincent's dress was ugly, IMO. The challenge was supposed to be "everyday woman" type of style, and that dress wasn't. And the collar didn't even go around to the back. Vincent has a very cartoonish style of design, IMO, and says weird shit about being "turned on" by, or "getting off" on, his designs.

Uli should've won it. End of story.

Laura dishes it out without being asked (and I don't think her motives are concern/kindness), so I think she should be able to take some crap occasionally, too. Her remarks to Kayne were rude and I think his response was in the same vein. I'm just glad I didn't have to look at her boney, moley chest all episode like the last few challenges. Honey, you look GREAT for 42, but the neckline-to-the-navel look is too young fer ya.

I would've been protective of my mom, too, if Jeffrey'd had her. I don't blame him for going with his own vision, but he could've handled Angela's mom better. She was a little too sensitive and wanted to control a lot of what he was doing, but he is just too brash. He made just about the most hideous thing ever!

I really wish the judges had talked a bit more about how important it is to be able to design for all sized women, not just models, especially how important it is to not just make some muumuu tent dress just because a woman is larger. Bigger women still want to look good, fashionable, sexy. So many of the designers just seemed to want to totally cover up their bigger women.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LISTENING TO TIM GUNN'S PODCAST!! HE GIVES SOME GOOD INSIGHT ON BEHIND THE SCENES STUFF AND IS TOTALLY RIGHT ON THE MONEY. I loves me some Tim, though, he's my new idol.

I agree w/ Tom, Angela's mom was about as annoying as Angela Whiny as fuck, irritating. Yes, Jeffrey should have handled it better & he was very insensitive BUT I'm glad he didn't haul off & strangle her

I'm shocked, SHOCKED that Vincent won - the belt on that dress was TRAGIC, I think the funny collar is the only thing that made it slightly interesting. But I thought about it after - initially I was pissed that they've slept on Uli's skills YET AGAIN but her outfit, though pretty & flowy, was very similar to what women that size already wear. I think when they said they wanted "fashion forward" they wanted more shape, less drape - had Uli's been more "structured" & less seemingly free form I think she would have won. The print she chose was so damn pretty!

The old pics of Kayne were awesome, he really has lost a lot of weight. As far as him being bitchy he seems like the same dude he always was from the beginning imo

Robert, oh Robert I just don't understand his choices AT ALL. That outfit was terrible - she looked like Little Red Riding Hood. He may as well wrapped 2 sheets around her. I will miss his commentary, he cracks me up w/ the shit he says. Poor bastard...

I read in some rag that the real reason Allison got kicked off last week is b/c Heidi didn't like her - you know your show is on fire when they're starting gossip about it

Angela's outfit was so terrible - how do you simply THROW tassles on an outfit & keep going?? Who does that??

Bottom line - all the outfits kinda sucked except Uli's, even Michael's was kinda boring. Is it wrong for me to feel just a smidge happy that Vincent's crazy ass has saved face just a little? I still don't think he should have won BUT at least he's not the complete loser fuck who cashed out his 401k just to lose week after week now

And YES, Michael Kors & his mom look just alike!! His mom has either had an extremely relaxed/healthy life or the bitch has had surgery - she looks AMAZING!! I really thought they were gonna say it was his sister. Who knows what she has lurking underneath those shades but she looked great!
