I called in sick in advance for Monday. The last couple of days have been so painful, I know I'm gonna need 3 to recover.

Edit: ok, not painful like there's something WRONG, just painful like I don't wanna fuckin' be at work, so I'm taking a three-day weekend. Thank you for the sweetly concerned orgnotes, loverlies.

I actually was sick and it wasn't pretty. Now I have to make up all the missed days.

I've always had a hard time calling in sick. I mean, I'd do it... but I could never, fully, enjoy my day off because I always felt like they knew I was playing hooky. I'd stress myself out so much that it ended up being worse than being at work.

You guys are all pissing me off....I'm sitting here waiting to go to work.

I pretty much work at home though

I have to be on my deathbed to call in sick. I feel bad about my co-workers being shortstaffed plus I like my job. On the otherhand, I've come to work sick, then everbody else gets what flu I have, and I'd been better off staying home.

I call it my mental health day I don't do it often, because I like my job too. Sometimes I need a break from the heavy public contact and stress though.

damn, i always think about calling in sick, but I feel life if i do it just for the hell of it because I hate my job, then I would feel guilty. I feel like if I do it just to get a "free" day off then it will come back to haunt me.

every morning before work, i strongly consider calling in sick. then every day when i'm at work, i think to myself, "i really should have called in sick."

maybe i just need a new job...maybe i'm allergic to where i work!
