Well, I've been around here - but not much. I was on Org Vacation whilst Big Brother was being screened in the U.K. I don't think I'll bother with it next year. It was all a little tired and felt a bit forced this time around...

So. What have I been up to? Probably not much really, but I'll try to recall I can.

I ex-communicated a group of friends whom had been over-stepping for some time. I changed my home phone number; I changed my mobile number and set up filters on all my email addresses to automatically delete their emails. It was great! Very, very liberating. It lasted a month and a half until about two weeks ago, when one of the friends knocked on my door to apologise for his behaviour. He still didn't really understand why I was so angry, but I was moved that he got in touch. He said that he'd knocked on my door a few times - but I never answer the door at night, unless I'm expecting visitors. We went to the local pub and had a big long talk. I gave him my new numbers and we've spoke a little since, but we're not in each others pockets anymore. It does feel good to know that we can at least speak to each other when we see each other around. I haven't really heard from the other friends.

My friend Fiona whom went to Peru to find herself and came back pregnant, is due to have her baby in a few weeks time. I haven't seen her for a few months either because she also annoyed me a little. I phoned her the other night and we're meeting up for dinner on Thursday evening.

I've become really good friends with a bloke at work called Ste. We've hung out together loads. He's witty, intelligent, funny, handsome - and straight. But it's all good. He's Northern-Irish but grew up in Bahrain and was educated at a school for children of the U.S. military. He has a bizarre accent. He has huge holes in his cultural experience. It's really interesting. I had to explain what a "dumpling" was to him, the other week.

My friend Darren took me to his hairdresser's wedding the other month. I hadn't seen him for a while either. I hadn't fallen out with him, just drifted apart due to geography. We drank about six bottles of red wine in the space of five hours. We were mashed and probably showed ourselves up. But it was fun. Darren himself got married three weeks ago. I don't get on with his wife though. She's very moody. The wedding was like something out of Dynasty. There was a camera crew there from Channel Five which was odd. He and his new bride took part in a TV show at the beginning of the year in which they underwent hypnotherapy to resolve their "relationship issues". I was agog when he told me. They didn't even get paid. It's being screened in September I think.

My cousin Simon had an operation on his inner ear which has rendered him a bit deaf on one side. He's got like a Frankenstein scar behind one ear. I went visiting him when he came out of theatre and he was dosed up on morphine. He was acting crazy. It was a bit weird. The nurse was an ex-neighbour of ours. I used to share a house with my cousin Simon and my friend Darren, but it all got a bit shity and ended acrimoniously. We fell out for ages. That was about four years ago.

The neighbours have been a bit quieter. I did have two undercover police detectives visit me at work though. That was a bit bizarre. I probably shouldn't say too much about it all.

My sister's currently on holiday in Greece and she's staying at a hotel which has been all over the news in England, because one of the guests threw himself, his daughter and son out of a window in a suicide attempt! My sister is completely unaware of this though. I don't know how she's unaware of it, but she is. She texed my mum, telling her about an "accident" which had happened the other day.

My mum and dad are going to Tunisia in Africa for a holiday in a couple of weeks. That's pretty cool. I'd love to get away myself but I'm still skint.

I ended up in bed with my ex the other week. We hadn't spoke for over a year and within six hours of speaking again, we ended up all over each other.

My brother's Subaru was used in a bank raid three weeks ago. Some thieves, rammed a fence post through his living-room window; stole a bunch of keys, drove off with the car and robbed a bank the day after! He got the car back though. There wasn't a scratch on it.

I've just been plodding along really.

How do you pronounce "Ste" ?

Julio makes a living by scouring the desert for Megalodon fossils and selling them to collectors. She asked me to create him an online shop, so he could sell the things online but she never really explained what she wanted. She didn't even sketch anything out. I kept asking her to come around to mine and give me some ideas as to what she wanted. She did come around repeatedly but got sidetracked and we kept wasting time watching crappy B-Movies I'd downloaded.

One day, out of the blue, she sent me a demented email, asking where her website was. It was all like: "I love you more than your other friends. They all hate you because they are cunts. I'm your true friend. Why won't you do this for me? You'd bend over backwards for every other fucker. I hate you". That's why I hadn't spoke with her for a while. I was not impressed.

Oh. I've finally got around to converting my Lovesexy laserdisc to an avi. An XviD to be exact. My PC's been chuggging along encoding it for two days and it's going to spit it out in approximately five hours.

If none of you have a DVD player which can play DivX and XviD, I'd highly recommend you buy one. Mine was £39.00 from Maplin. It's one of the best things I've ever, ever bought.
