summer fun drinks

spiked watermelon? hard lemonade? margarita slushies? do you have a favorite summer fun drink you wanna share?

i bought a bottle of mikes hard frozen lemonade and am patiently waiting for it to turn into a slushie in my freezer... in the mean time i have found a recipe that sounds incredibly easy for making your own!

Summer Beer II
Submitted by: Patty
"Fun to serve in the summer for special gatherings or cocktail parties. Garnish with lemon slices and sprigs of mint."
Original recipe yield: 8 servings.
Prep Time:10 MinutesReady In:10 MinutesServings:8

INGREDIENTS:
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
12 fluid ounces water
12 fluid ounces vodka
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

Place lemonade concentrate in a gallon pitcher. Measure water and vodka in the 12 ounce lemonade can and add to the pitcher. Pour in the beer, mix well and serve over ice.

i think i shall try that next time to see how it tastes biggrin
i failed miserably at my first attempt to make a margarita... anyone want to teach me how it's supposed to be done?

Hey emm! wave How's everything?

I love summer drinks. Even in the winter I usually ask the bartender to make something that "tastes like it should have lots of umbrellas in it". They always understand what I mean. smile
