MIAMI VICE I enjoyed it. Dark. Violent. Dirty. It made me reminiscence about the sunny days and bright clothing Johnson and Thomas wore on the TV series. The soundtrack is worth the price of admission. | |

That is one bad boy Irish man that a whole lotta women want to get with. Dunno, i've never bought into the Colin Farrell Phenomenon, I find him slobbish but not in a good way. Not like Marlon Brando in his younger years who was hot. Colin doesn't have the charisma he had, imo. ... [Edited 7/28/06 16:52pm] | |

I don't want to see this, seems like such a pointless remake...
I think Terrance Howard would have made a better Tubbs than Jamie though...     I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it | |

There are not enough adjectives to describe how bad this movie was. 
From the non existent plot, to the primitive dialogue, to the absymal acting by Colin Farrel AND Jamie Foxx, of all people. . The only good thing I can say about it is the soundtrack and some of the panoramic shots, that's it. No wonder Jamie and Colin were a no show at the Miami premiere! They could use this movie as torture to interrogate prisoners. They'd spill their guts just to make it stop.

i liked it.
out of 4 stars,i give it 3 and 1/2 because it dragged in some parts. i liked the end where the blood hit the screen for the shootout. colin farells' stache and hair?.over the top! i was laughing at the dance scenes when he was dancing with gong li in havana.  | |

That's how bad it was... see this is what i heard that the movie for slow for like the first hour then it slowly picks up. and me for one, i'm not a very patient person, so if the thing is slow, its best that i wait for it to come out on dvd.... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

Jamie is a great actor but for some reason he was like a piece of wood in this movie. Not even the scene with him in the shower could save this train wreck. I'm pretty patient with movies and books that start out slow, but I kept waiting for a story to develop and it never did. I couldn't tell you what this movie was about if you put a gun to my head!
