So The Devil Rays beat the Yankees 19-6, and this bumps the Yankees out of the American League wild-card. Well, at least for now it does anyways.
Only Cleveland was able to pull more runs at Yankee Stadium in 2004.
For me, this is nothing short of amazing, and potentially hopeful, but most likely a seasonal fluke.

But with Scott Kazmir's injuries, the Rays are yet again cursed. I mean, why is it that everytime the Rays gain something, shit has to happen?

The Devil Rays problem is they bring up their young talent 2 years early and let them develop on the arby clock and then have to trade them away for salry purposes as they are hitting their prime instead of letting them develop in the minor leagues and getting some prime years relatively cheap before trading them away for some more prime prospects and starting the cycle all over again.

They are like the Expos of yesteryear and until they develop the patience to wait on their youngsters they will never win. Plus they play in a craphole and have no source of revenue.
